Body Energy Awareness & Movement

Oxana Gonchar is a body energy awareness and movement specialist, dancer, transformational speaker, radio show host and advocate for wellbeing, self-realization and self-awareness. She guides people into their physical and emotional challenges with movement and meditation to transform those challenges into strengths. When body, mind and heart are integrated and function harmoniously, we gain access to the full power of ourselves.

Prior stepping into the role of an advocate for wellbeing and self-realization, her life was that of a pilgrim type. It took her from one continent to another; from Russia to America. But prior to becoming an immigrant, she fell in love with dancing.

At the age of 6, she started dancing with a dance team, Rodnichok, until moving on to Synega, an older generation of Rodnichok. She traveled throughout Russia performing and winning awards at festivals and competitions. Dance focus was lyrical, jazz, modern, thematic and a bit of Russian folk. Since then she has been dancing whether it is on a stage on in her living room.

In 1993, Heart-to-Heart, a non-profit organization, invited her dance group, Synega, to perform in the United States. After 3 months of touring, she decided to stay in America to continue her dance career.

After 14 years of dancing, she decided it was time to utilize more of her left-brain.  In 2002, she received an Undergrad Degree in International Business and in 2009, a Master’s Degree in International Commerce and Policy. She worked successfully for 15 years in a Hospitality Industry for large corporations such as Interstate Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International Headquarters and Interior Design companies on both the East and West coasts.

At 33 years of age, doctors discovered that both of her hips would require surgery to re-attach the labral tissue that was torn by excessive high kicks and splits. Surgery was not an option she wished to pursue so she started looking for alternative ways to improve her body’s condition. This is when she discovered the ‘Body-Mind-Heart’ Formula and BEAM: Body Energy Awareness & Movement, was born. Since then she has been working on developing BEAM and its content.

Over the past 15 years, she has been re-awakening to her true-self and power of body, mind and heart by recognizing the voice of her ego, reconnecting with stillness, and addressing her emotions.  She has studied utilizing Qi-energy, practicing meditation, yoga, qigong and ancient philosophies such as Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Zen, Korean and Pagan while attending classes and workshops.

Finally, in June of 2017, at the age of 40, she quit the Hospitality Industry and gave her full attention to BEAM. She has combined years of research, knowledge, practice and wisdom together to create unique classes, packages and workshops that target body, mind and emotions so they can function harmoniously together. Oxana believes that the journey toward wellbeing starts with a healthy body, clear mind and balanced emotions.
